This is a follow up to this post, Wedding Invitation Stamps because I just learned about this great company, The Paper Nickel Stamp Company that sells awesome vintage stamps. Loves it for wedding invitations…. although rather pricey…. $2.00 for .45 cents worth of stamps. So love the look though.

God Bless you Southern Weddings magazine for awesome finds like this.

Here are a few pics from this weekend’s wedding. I was not involved in any of the planning or design, I just stopped by to snap a few photos for the company. It’s beautiful so enjoy!

Here are a few pics I snapped from a wedding our company did the other week. Lynn Nelson was the planner and I was the assistant planner. The venue was the Thomas Birkby House in Leesburg, Virginia.

I absolutely love hydrangeas… the last picture is a bunch of them that I was able to snag and take home at the end. The wedding was absolutely lovely… totally my wedding colors, Navy and Ivory.
The favors were s’mores…. matches, a graham cracker and some chocolate… how cute?

If I had to pick my wedding colors right now, they would be navy blue and seersucker. And yes, I realize seersucker is not a color, but a type of fabric. And no, I am not engaged, nor am I even dating anyone. But being a wedding planner I’ve pretty much already determined what my entire wedding is going to look like. It’s inevitable… I see pretty things all the time and think “Oh, I’ve got to have that.”

I think guest welcome bags are always a fun idea… I love the idea of filling up a LL Bean boat & tote bag with some local goodies. The bag in the image below is from Martha Stewart Weddings, if you follow the link below it will take you to details on the bag.

I love these table ‘numbers’.

I’m not sure I’m a fan of the eggs in these, but they can easily be left out…

I’m working on a coral + grey inspiration board for a October wedding so I was searching the BHLDN website for ideas. It’s a farm wedding so I thought these totally fit with the theme. But $14… no way. I’m not a crafty person, but you could totally make these on the cheap by yourself. Candles from target plus some branches from your backyard = totally cute.

Here is an inspiration board I made for an upcoming bride:

Ok I guess there’s not a ton of pink in it, but you get the picture :)

I saw this Poster idea in this month’s Martha Stewart’s Weddings magazines and I think it is such a great idea. Instead of having a guest book or the now overused frame mat that guests can sign, they can sign on this poster. Kinda Declaration of Independence style.

You can download the editable template here. Enjoy!
