My dining room chairs are hand me downs from my parents… they had the potential to be cute chairs but they were covered in some not so hot fabric. My step mom had recovered them a few years back in yellow tea cup fabric…maybe they fit in when they were in my parents house but I was not feelin’ the teacups in my house.
It was a quick as 1, 2, 3 to recover them as I had this beautiful Tiffany’s blue fabric on hand and a staple gun. The annoying part was ripping off about 4 layers of fabric from them as they had been recovered many times. It took a little elbow grease, a hammer and pliers to rip off the old staples that held the fabric on. But in under 2 hours I had new-to-me chairs!
(Forgive the poor quality of the photos, I was lazy and took them with my iPhone).
