I use this crust recipe and this tomato sauce recipe which has a bit of a kick to it but is amazing. For the toppings just throw on whatever suits your fancy, in this photo it was fresh mozzarella + fresh basil which was delish, last night all I had on hand was normal mozzarella, and not a ton of it so I threw on some white cheddar cause that is all I had. I was scared the cheddar was going to ruin it but it turned out great.
Yes, I need a pizza stone or at least a silpat mat, but neither are in the budget at the moment. Sigh.
Note: Please make your crust the day before you need it. Letting it sit in the fridge a day or two works wonders to the dough.
