Packing for Europe

My sister is getting married next month, and asked me for some ideas of bags and shoes to bring with her to Italy on her honeymoon.  Two essentials when traveling in Europe are comfy (but still cute) shoes, and a nice, big bag that zips (to keep those pickpocketers away).  Lightweight clothes, especially jackets that you can layer is huge.  When I was in London this May I  was freezing the whole time because I only brought one rain jacket, failing to realize that London can be very cold in May.

Here are a few of my recommendations for bags and shoes that will help you get around town in style:

Merrell Barefoot Life Whirl Glove.  Also check out Whisper Flush.  Merrells are so, so comfy and great when you need to do a lot of walking.

Sperrys- Original 2-Eye Boat Shoe and Audrey Slip-On Boat Shoe.  I love Sperrys, and if I were to buy another pair, I would probably get the Audrey version, since the shoelaces on mine come untied all the time (so maybe I don’t love them that much…)

Kelly Moore Libby Bag.  I don’t have this (it’s expensive!), but I really, really want it.  I love how you can arrange the compartment and which way you like.

Scout Haulin’ Totes.  I LOVE my Scout Pocket Rocket bag(s), although the Pocket Rocket might be a bit too big to lug around on a daily basis.  Haulin’ Totes looks a little smaller, or check out Uptown Girl.  Scout bags are made out of a super tough recycled material, and they are a much more economical option than the Libby bag, or…

Longchamp Le Pliage Large Tote.  Longchamps are classics and perfect for throwing everything and anything in them.
